Course outline

In this two day course you will be taught the fundamentals of medical educational theory, how to provide good quality feedback and how you can design and deliver good quality teaching sessions. ​

- What is a curriculum and curriculum design

Teaching in the workplace

- Small group teaching

- Bedside teaching

- Simulation based teaching

- Ward round based teaching

Lecture based teaching

- Use of visual aids

- Presentation skills

Course Tutor 

This course is delivered by Dr Umar Mahmood. Dr Umar has over 10 years of clinical teaching experience having achieved a PgCert, Diploma and MSc in Medical Education at UCL. Dr Umar is extremely passionate about education have organised and delivered numerous teaching programmes across the country and helping trainees with exam and interview preparation.
